Abstract as Alphabet:

In 1968 Minimalism was Posting and I graduated from Palisades High School.

I moved directly down the Pacific Coast Highway to Venice Beach.

At the time I was unaware it would be a SoCal Art Hub, rent was dirt cheap.

My aptitude toward Geometry was good and I began Abstracting the Square.

Sculpture had Minimalized and I could see going inside and Abstracting it.

I preferred a rectangle over a square, It was elongated and more elegant to divide.

These divisions gave me a series of interchangeable shapes I call my Alphabet.

I use these shapes as one would use letters to write sentences.

I use this Alphabet still today and it evolves in a natural progression.

Outer Space, Inner Space and Infinity have been prime factors in my work.

I never figured out infinity but my work deals with cyclic aspects of it.
