I paint pictures with pigments from soil, minerals and stones, which I paint on canvas. I hand grinds the pigments and then blend them into a paste. Painting in-situ, I allow the natural conditions of a site to come forth in a process I refer to as a “chain of coincidences.” I am one of very few artists worldwide who uses particles of meteorites (nickel, iron, and chondrules), a valuable substances that originates from asteroids and comets and is evidence of the early universe.
