I am compelled by my curiosity to look for the enigmatic embodied in matter. Each painting is a record of an adventure; an exploration to find what is hidden in the materiality of the medium. I am drawn to the history and the essence of things that remain ambiguous. I am drawn to the inexplicable.

In each painting I am seeking an ambiguous glow that will place the painting outside of time. I am looking to offer an anomaly, something that seems to be real but is somehow elusive.
