DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA social & cash bar will open beforehand at 3:30pm and conclude the event.\n\n\nThis special panel discussion will feature famed neon artists Kadir Lopez Nieves of Cuba and Michael Flechtner of Los Angeles. Nieves—who has garnered critical acclaim and been named one of the top 10 artists to watch by The Huffington Post—will be flying in from Cuba for the opening of YVArts’ HAVANA NOIR Exhibition and will join Flechtner—renowned neon artist and creator of the USPS “Celebrate” stamp—as they discuss their installation of images\, neon\, and other visual and narrative clues that interpret the midcentury urban fabric of the city of Havana. This special event will feature panelists from the collection.
